Johns Hopkins has joined more than 1,400 college campuses across the country in the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, a national, nonpartisan initiative that inspires, supports, and celebrates colleges and universities working to improve civic learning, political engagement, and voter participation.

In 2021, JHU was recognized for its efforts during the 2020 Presidential Election with a Silver Certification. Following the 2022 Midterm Elections, Johns Hopkins University continues its commitment to democratic engagement in preparation for the 2024 presidential election, being recognized for a “Highly Established Action Plan” in both 2022 and 2024.
