Are you registered? Do you have a plan to vote? Find important information about registration requirements and deadline, absentee and mail-in ballots, and more.
Course instructors are encouraged to provide flexibility to students when possible so they can vote and/or volunteer in support of an orderly election.
The university has a long-standing policy of allowing all employees to take up to two hours of paid time off to vote.
For all bargaining unit members, please contact your union representative or refer to your agreement for information about time off for voting.

Stamps and envelopes are available at the Center for Social Concern and in the resident director suites in AMR II, McCoy Hall, and Scott-Bates Commons.
In addition, some states require election-related mail to be notarized. If you need notary services, you can make an appointment with Student Enrollment and Account Management or stop by Levering Hall, Suite 102 for walk-in notary services on the following dates:
When you’re ready to mail your ballot, you can drop it off at any of the three mailrooms on campus. You can also drop off your ballot at any United States Postal Service post office or collection box.
If you need to print any election-related documents to mail, please visit the Center for Social Concern and the Digital Media Center for free printing.
Is your polling location the Enoch Pratt Free Library – Waverly Branch? Join Hopkins Votes on Election Day at 12:30 p.m. for a March to the Polls! We will gather at The Beach and walk to the polling location.
On Election Day, Maryland voters should vote at their assigned polling location. If you are unsure of your assigned location, please visit the Maryland Board of Elections website and enter the address where you currently live.
